Job Overview

MW Partners is currently seeking a Business Operations Analyst to collaborate with our client, a renowned leader in multimedia and creativity software solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage with business units to analyze the implications of actions, facilitating discussions on forecasts and performance metrics.
  • Deliver weekly and quarterly financial reports to stakeholders, emphasizing insights and performance drivers.
  • Investigate, comprehend, and articulate the underlying causes of fluctuations in metrics and their relation to financial goals.
  • Assess how team effectiveness influences overall company growth and performance.
  • Convert business inquiries and requirements into analytical projects, interpreting outcomes to generate valuable business insights.
  • Collaborate with strategic leadership to pinpoint growth opportunities and potential risks within programs.
  • Develop, maintain, and enhance financial projection models for both existing and new initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or master's degree, or 7+ years of relevant experience.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in finance, data analytics, business analytics, or related fields.
  • Proficient in handling data within Microsoft Excel.
  • Skilled in querying and manipulating extensive data sets for analytical purposes using big data platforms.
  • Experience in cross-functional collaboration, providing insights and reports to teams such as Data Engineering, Business Operations, and Finance.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of delivering multiple reports at various levels of detail, managing stakeholder expectations, and ensuring timely follow-ups.
  • Adept at navigating multiple systems and tools, including Azure and Microsoft Excel.
  • Ability to analyze data to uncover insights, identify revenue opportunities, and diagnose unexpected business performance issues.
  • Competent in presenting large data sets in a clear and concise manner that is easily understandable for stakeholders.
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of the business unit, associated data, and workflows to identify risks and opportunities.
  • Familiarity with the sales process and related KPIs.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and experienced with tools such as Linux, Bash, git, Python, Spark, SQL, Power BI, and Tableau.
