Job Summary

Russell Tobin & Associates is seeking a seasoned Transportation Project Manager to lead roadway expansion and improvement projects within the transportation team across the Great Lakes area. This is a hybrid role that requires traveling to the Newark office 2 days a week to coordinate with Junior Engineers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement business growth strategies to increase revenue by educating existing or new clients on how our services can meet their needs.
  • Identify regulatory drivers for our services and build a plan to put us on the forefront of those drivers in our area.
  • Manage complex projects involving multidisciplinary project teams, ensuring timely completion and budget adherence.
  • Develop and maintain client relationships as the client contact for projects, fostering a culture of engagement and collaboration.
  • Develop strategy, scope of work, and budget for projects, and manage project schedules and budgets.
  • Actively manage Work-In-Progress (WIP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) to meet company metrics.
  • Maintain overall project quality consistent with company and professional standards.
  • Design and implement company policies and procedures.
  • Regularly engage with related professional societies and networking events to stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices.
  • Interact, negotiate, and build credibility with regulatory agencies.
  • Mentor team members and foster a culture of engagement and professional development.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering from an accredited institution.
  • 5-10 years of experience in roadway improvements with ODOT involvement.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) certification required, with pre-qualifications with DOT preferred.
  • Proven ability to lead project teams and drive business growth.
