Job Summary

InfuCare Rx Inc is seeking a skilled Application Support Engineer to provide technical assistance for our suite of applications. This role involves troubleshooting, diagnosing, and resolving application issues, as well as ensuring seamless functionality for internal and external users.

Key Responsibilities
  • Application Support: Provide front-line support for application issues, troubleshoot and resolve functional and technical problems raised by users.
    • Incident Management: Document, manage, and prioritize application incidents, ensuring timely resolution and root cause analysis.
    • Issue Diagnosis & Resolution: Analyze and identify the root cause of application-related issues and escalate to appropriate development teams when necessary.
    • User Support: Assist users with application-related inquiries and train them on using key features, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.
    • Monitoring & Maintenance: Continuously monitor the performance of applications and systems, ensuring optimal functionality and uptime.
    • Collaboration with Development Teams: Work closely with developers to understand new features, resolve bugs, and contribute to software improvements.
    • System Updates & Patches: Ensure systems are updated with the latest patches and version updates. Support deployment of new releases and maintenance.
    • Documentation: Create and maintain documentation for troubleshooting steps, known issues, and application configurations.
    • Continuous Improvement: Suggest and implement improvements to application processes, focusing on enhancing system stability and user experience.
    Requirements
    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
    • Proven experience as an Application Support Engineer, IT Support, or a similar role.
    • Strong technical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
    • Experience with databases (e.g., SQL), web applications, and system monitoring tools.
    • Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) and basic knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) is a plus.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
    Preferred Skills
    • Experience working with ticketing systems like Jira, ServiceNow, or Zendesk.
    • Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git).
    • Basic understanding of DevOps and CI/CD pipelines.
    • Ability to diagnose performance issues within applications and suggest improvements.
