Job Title: Regulatory Affairs Specialist

Vital Health America LLC is seeking a highly skilled Regulatory Affairs Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Regulatory Department, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with all relevant labeling regulations and guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement Nutrition/Facts panels for new and existing products, ensuring consistency with master manufacturing formulas and compliance with applicable regulations.
  • Review and approve finished product labels, making suggestions for errors and ensuring compliance with labeling regulations.
  • Collaborate with Product Development, Sales/Customer Service, and other internal departments to ensure timely submission of regulatory documentation and compliance.
  • Stay up-to-date on evolving regulatory environments and share relevant information with colleagues and other departments.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Nutrition, Life Sciences, or a related field.
  • At least two years of experience in Regulatory Affairs within the food/dietary supplement manufacturing industry.
  • Knowledge of Dietary Supplement GMP guidelines, food/dietary supplement ingredients, and formulas.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents, including safety rules, operating and maintenance work instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Working Conditions:

This role requires the ability to regularly lift up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift up to 25 pounds. The position also requires standing, walking, bending, and/or stooping for periods of five hours or more.

Additional Skills and Qualifications:
  • Knowledge of cGMP standards and adherence to health and safety regulations.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents, including safety rules, operating and maintenance work instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
