Key Responsibilities- Greet and register guests, assigning rooms and verifying credit information
- Manage guest accounts, compute bills, and collect payments
- Perform bookkeeping activities, including balancing cash accounts and posting charges
- Review accounts and charges with guests during check-out
- Communicate with housekeeping and maintenance staff to resolve guest issues
- Provide excellent customer service, responding to guest inquiries and resolving complaints
- Ensure timely and efficient delivery of guest messages, mail, and faxes
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to company standards
- High school diploma or equivalent required; related experience and/or training preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with guests and team members
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple tasks and priorities
- Basic math skills and accuracy in handling cash and credit transactions
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
The Hotel Front Desk Agent will work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, interacting with guests and team members on a regular basis. The position requires standing, walking, and using manual dexterity to perform tasks. The noise level in the work environment can be moderate to loud.
