Job Summary

This position involves reliability and system safety work related to a diverse product line. As a Reliability and Systems Engineer Intern, you will work under direct supervision, performing entry-level professional assignments, following established policies, and applying limited use and/or application of basic principles, theories, and concepts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Reliability Engineering (50%): Provide reliability engineering analyses on a wide variety of programs, influencing design and participating in proposal activities as required. Identify associated risks, understand customer requirements and expectations, and efficiently complete reliability efforts within budget and schedule.
  • System Safety Engineering (30%): Provide system safety engineering analyses on a wide variety of programs, participating in proposal activities as required. Identify associated risks, understand customer requirements and expectations, and efficiently complete system efforts within budget and schedule.
  • Delivery and Quality (20%): Meet all delivery requirements by understanding customer requirements, developing robust plans, creating deliverables with first-time through quality, and meeting delivery commitments despite obstacles and constraints.
Requirements

A Bachelor's degree in an Engineering-related major, or an equivalent combination of education and related experience. Master's degree or equivalent experience is preferred. Some Reliability Engineering coursework or experience is preferred.
