Job Summary
The Patient Access Representative is responsible for all aspects of the patient registration process, including:
- Verifying Patient Identity
- Reviewing Schedules and Physician Orders
- Scanning Important Documents
- Entering Patient Information
During the registration process, the Patient Access Representative will explain and complete complex regulatory and compliance documents and adhere to all applicable privacy and compliance standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Registering Patients for Appropriate Services
- Explaining and Collecting Co-Payments and Outstanding Balances
- Providing Excellent Customer Service
- Working with Clinical and Non-Clinical Staff
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Two Years of Customer Service and/or Data Entry Experience
- Knowledge of Third-Party Payers and Medical Terminology
- Interpersonal and Communication Skills
