Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Patient Care Specialist to join our team at Velocity Urgent Care. As a Patient Care Specialist, you will play a vital role in ensuring an exceptional patient experience by providing non-clinical support within our Urgent Care Clinic.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Answering phones and responding to patient inquiries
  • Scheduling appointments and outpatient procedures
  • Providing general administrative support for practice operations
  • Coordinating referrals, resources, and pre-authorizations
  • Communicating with patients and providers
Requirements:
  • Three years of Clerical, Customer Service experience
  • One year of experience with Health Insurance Plans, Medical Records Data, Medical Terminology, Registration, Scheduling, or Third Party Payers
  • Experience with Electronic Medical Record systems preferred
