We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) professional to join our team at Three Point Solutions as a Site EHS Manager. This is a critical role that requires a strong background in safety management, regulatory compliance, and risk mitigation.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement effective safety leadership systems, policies, and procedures to promote a culture of safety excellence within the organization.
- Lead the review, update, and implementation of the Corporate Environmental Health and Safety Management System and local EHS processes to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company standards.
- Collaborate with site operations leaders to identify and mitigate risks, and develop strategies to prevent incidents and injuries.
- Investigate high-actual/potential incidents, facilitate root cause/corrective action (RCCA) with key stakeholders, and report findings according to the Incident Management Process.
- Provide technical expertise and support for medical and industrial hygiene programs, and work closely with Human Resources and Operations teams on pre-employment fitness for duty and return-to-work program evaluations.
- Manage the site environmental program, including permits, waste management, and regulatory reports, inspections, and emergency response planning.
- Supervise EHS consultants and contractors, ensuring they follow regulatory and company requirements, and analyze and interpret data and reports to make recommendations.
- Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline, such as Occupational Safety & Health, Industrial Hygiene, Occupational Health, Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Environment, Health and Safety, Chemistry, or Biology.
- Minimum 8-10 years of experience in the environmental, health, and safety discipline, with a strong focus on safety, and at least 5 years of working in a manufacturing environment as a safety professional.
- Strong technical and regulatory expertise in environmental, health, and safety regulatory requirements, and knowledge of industry standards, such as ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001/ISO 45001.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust with all levels of the organization, and effectively communicate EHS risks and strategies to leaders and employees.
- Ability to work independently with minimal direction, handle multiple tasks, and switch priorities as needed, with a solid work ethic and impeccable integrity.
- Certified Safety Professional (CSP), Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH), Certified Hazardous Materials Manager (CHMM), or NEBOSH Certification.
- Experience in aerospace or a related industry.
- Proficiency in the English language.
