Job Title: Site EHS Manager

A Site EHS Manager plays a pivotal role in ensuring the safety and well-being of employees at a site level, while maintaining compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations. This individual will work closely with the Site Leader, Operations, Quality, Continuous Improvement, and Human Resources functions to drive the execution of the EHS strategy and foster a culture of excellence.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement effective EHS management systems and processes to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct risk assessments and develop strategies to mitigate potential hazards and risks.
  • Collaborate with management and legal counsel to address regulatory compliance and liability issues.
  • Provide training and guidance to employees on EHS policies and procedures.
  • Monitor and report on EHS performance metrics and implement corrective actions as needed.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline, such as Occupational Safety & Health, Industrial Hygiene, or Environmental Engineering.
  • Minimum 8-10 years of experience in the environmental, health, and safety discipline, with a strong focus on safety.
  • At least 5 years of working in a manufacturing environment as a safety professional.
  • Experience in aerospace preferred.
  • Advanced certification, additional specialized safety education, and/or equivalent work experience are desired but not required.
