EHS Director

The Business Unit Director of Environmental Health and Safety (EH&S) will play a critical role in ensuring the health, safety, and environmental sustainability of our operations. This position will be responsible for developing and implementing EH&S policies and procedures, conducting risk assessments, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement EH&S policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
- Conduct regular risk assessments to identify and mitigate potential hazards
- Collaborate with site management and EH&S technicians to ensure effective implementation of EH&S initiatives
- Develop and deliver training programs to ensure employees are aware of EH&S policies and procedures
- Monitor and report on EH&S performance metrics to senior management
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations related to EH&S
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field
- 7+ years of experience in an EH&S manager role
- Knowledge of applicable ISO and OHSAS standards
- Certification in a relevant field (e.g. CSP, CIH, REM)
- Strong communication and leadership skills
