Job Title: Front of House Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Front of House Manager to join our team at 7 Hills Brewing Co, LLC. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, organizing, training, and leadership necessary to achieve our objectives in sales, costs, employee retention, guest service and satisfaction, food quality, cleanliness, and sanitation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Recruit, select, orient, train, assign, schedule, coach, counsel, and discipline staff.
  • Supervise all Front of House employees.
  • Maintain a safe, secure, and healthy facility environment by establishing, following, and enforcing sanitation standards and procedures.
  • Comply with and enforce all federal, state, county, and municipal regulations that pertain to the restaurant, health, and safety, and personnel.
  • Work with the kitchen management to ensure that all food and products are consistently prepared and served according to our recipes, portioning, cooking, and serving standards.
  • Complete administrative and human resource paperwork in an organized and timely manner.
  • Ensure all equipment and property are kept clean and in good working condition through inspections and preventative maintenance programs.
  • Control cash and receipts by adhering to cash handling and reconciliation procedures.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's Degree in management or a business-related field preferred.
  • Three to five years of prior management experience in a restaurant.
  • Must be 21 years or older.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills and capable of communicating effectively with customers, management, and co-workers.
  • Strong customer service and management skills.
  • Team player with strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
  • Knowledge of P&L, budgeting, sales goals, and forecasting.
  • Basic math skills and ability to use a POS system (TouchBistro), ability to operate a computer, and proficient in Microsoft Office suite of programs and Google Docs.
  • Able to work a minimum of 40 hours per week; able to work flexible hours necessary to manage and operate the restaurants effectively.
  • Employee must be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time and be able to frequently lift up to 50 pounds.
