About the Role:
Children's Hospital of Los Angeles is seeking an experienced leader to join our team as a Lead Research Safety and Compliance Specialist. As a key contributor to the overall success of CHLA's research mission, you will lead with vision for the future and focus on supporting current programs and endeavors. You will have the exciting opportunity to continue positive growth and momentum while leading with a vision for the future of the research enterprise at CHLA.

Responsibilities:
- Establish, implement, and uphold guidelines and procedures designed to assure regulatory compliance.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with faculty, researchers, and staff within the research enterprise at CHLA.
- Oversee rodent husbandry, handling, and clinical knowledge required, as well as zebrafish husbandry and clinical knowledge preferred.

Qualifications:
- PhD in a biological discipline or DVM.
- Proven experience in a senior management animal research position in a supervisory capacity.
- Minimum salary $130,000 per year.
