Job Overview: Children's Hospital Los Angeles is seeking an experienced professional to serve as our Director, Laboratory Sciences. This key role will be responsible for leading our research safety and compliance program, ensuring regulatory adherence, and fostering a culture of excellence within the laboratory sciences department.

Key Responsibilities: Establish and implement policies and procedures for research safety and compliance. Provide guidance and oversight to laboratory personnel. Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure effective communication and problem-solving. Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of regulatory requirements and industry best practices.

Qualifications: PhD in a biological discipline or DVM. Proven experience in a senior management animal research position in a supervisory capacity. Strong leadership and communication skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Familiarity with rodent and zebrafish husbandry and clinical care.
