The University of Alabama Culverhouse College of Business is seeking applications for a Faculty position specializing in Micro Organizational Behavior (OB) and Human Resources (HR). This role is intended to commence in the upcoming academic year.
Position Details
The University of Alabama Culverhouse College of Business is looking for candidates for a Faculty position in Micro Organizational Behavior (OB) and Human Resources (HR). This position is part of a series of tenure-track openings within the Management Department.
Ideal applicants should exhibit a strong track record (or potential) in scholarly research. The selected individual will contribute to enhancing UA's reputation in research and education. We welcome a diverse range of Micro OB and HR research interests, particularly those centered on individual differences and workplace behavior, motivation and performance, human capital management, talent development, work design, employee well-being, and the evolving nature of work. The successful candidate will also be expected to instruct undergraduate and graduate courses in Micro OB and/or HR. While not mandatory, we are particularly interested in candidates who can teach specialized courses such as compensation, introductory HR, and training & development.
Qualifications
(1) A Ph.D. or equivalent degree in Management, Industrial/Organizational Psychology, or a closely related discipline from an AACSB accredited institution; (2) demonstrated potential for producing high-quality research and publishing in leading Management journals; (3) demonstrated potential for effective teaching.
