Speech Language Pathologist Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our team at the University of California San Francisco. As a Per Diem Speech Language Pathologist, you will provide direct and indirect patient care services to adult and geriatric patients with a variety of physical and cognitive impairments and disabilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and administer a full range of speech therapy services, including patient evaluations, therapeutic intervention plans, and implementation of therapeutic intervention programs.
  • Maintain all applicable patient records related to the delivery of patient care services.
  • Supervise support personnel, including Rehabilitation Aides, as needed.
Requirements:
  • Masters degree with clinical fellowship and minimum of 1 year of related patient care experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English, both orally and in writing.
  • Possession of or proven eligibility for licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist by the Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology Board of California.
  • AHA BLS CPR certification.
