Job Summary

We are seeking a Crisis Assessment Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our behavioral health team, you will be responsible for assessing clients in consultation with emergency department personnel, psychiatrists, and other clinicians. Your expertise will help us provide the best possible care to our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct face-to-face and telehealth evaluations to assess clients
  • Provide recommendations for client disposition
  • Collaborate with emergency department personnel, psychiatrists, and other clinicians to ensure comprehensive care
  • Manage assessment records and perform statistical analysis
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, Nursing, or related behavioral health field
  • Current license in the state of employment in one of the following disciplines: Clinical Psychologist (PSY), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Psychiatric Clinical Nurse Specialist (RN CNS), or Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (RN NP)
  • At least one year of crisis experience, preferably two years of direct behavioral health clinical care experience
  • Competence with DSM diagnostic criteria and treatment planning
  • Demonstrated clinical and ethical professionalism, conflict resolution, and critical thinking skills
