We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Security Operations Manager to join our team at NV Energy. As a key member of our security department, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day security operations that have a significant impact on our corporate, business unit, and organizational objectives.
Key Responsibilities- Implement and support company programs and policies related to physical security.
- Perform supervisory activities and planning, providing guidance and counsel to senior management and client organizations company-wide.
- Manage company-wide physical security activities, security investigations, and security incident response activities.
- Oversee the creation of reporting and intelligence products based on analysis by physical security operators and manage physical security projects and initiatives.
- Bachelor's degree in law enforcement or a related field and a minimum of six years of experience in a direct or indirect supervisory, management, or other leadership role.
- Candidates that do not possess a bachelor's degree must have a minimum of 10 years of experience in a direct or indirect supervisory, management, or other leadership role.
- Demonstrated knowledge of advanced concepts and practices in security, including threat assessments and physical security planning.
- Documented experience in participation or preparation of regulatory audits.
- Regulatory and government requirements that impact physical security.
- Ability to prepare and present effective training programs to a diverse audience.
- Communication and interpersonal skills involving the ability to establish trust, maintain confidence, and understand social behavior and interactions.
- Ability to work with all organizational levels to influence actions and negotiate outcomes.
- Annual Salary: $115,900 (Min) to $136,300 (Mid); Up to 15% Short Term Incentive Plan target opportunity at the discretion of the company.
