Job Title: General Manager

We're seeking a highly motivated and experienced General Manager to lead our team in the Northern VA area. As a General Manager, you'll be responsible for overseeing daily operations, managing staff, and ensuring exceptional guest experiences.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee kitchen operations and front-of-house service
  • Manage and lead supervisors and team members to ensure exceptional service
  • Work with supervisors to create a positive and efficient work environment
  • Manage maintenance and upkeep of equipment and the shop
  • Ensure compliance with ServeSafe food safety standards and shop safety
  • Oversee food and beverage management, including inventory and ordering
  • Recruit, hire, train, and conduct performance evaluations of team members
  • Schedule staff to ensure adequate coverage
Requirements:
  • 1-2 years of experience in a restaurant management role
  • Good understanding of P&L, COGS, decision making, process improvement, labor/scheduling, training & team development, food quality standards
  • ServeSafe Manager's Food Safety Certification
  • Ability to coordinate multiple tasks and maintain required standards of operation
  • Strong hospitality skills and passion for guest experience
  • Hands-on managing style and willingness to lead by example
  • Proactive and able to think of the big picture
  • High-energy, positive can-do attitude
  • Treat others with kindness and respect
  • Team player with a willingness to help others
  • Ability to work calmly and effectively under pressure
  • Proven coaching and leadership skills for a diverse staff
What We Offer:
  • Starting salary: $65,000 and a 20% bonus opportunity
