Overview

Dayton Freight is seeking a highly skilled Marketing Coordinator to join our team. As a Marketing Coordinator, you will play a key role in planning, writing, and implementing a wide range of marketing communications to engage both internal and external audiences.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute marketing strategies to promote our brand and drive business growth
  • Write, edit, and produce high-quality content for various marketing channels, including social media, email, and our company website
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and consistency in our marketing efforts
  • Manage and maintain our social media presence, including creating and scheduling posts, responding to comments and messages, and analyzing engagement metrics
  • Assist in the development and implementation of marketing campaigns, including event planning, promotional materials, and advertising
  • Provide support to internal departments, such as sales, safety, and employee relations, to help drive business results
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in marketing and communications
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field
  • Strong writing, editing, and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Experience with social media marketing and content creation
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
