Job Summary:
Piedmont Medical Center is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). As a Registered Nurse in the NICU, you will provide high-quality patient care to critically ill newborns and their families.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care to include assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of assigned patients.
- Collaborate with other professional disciplines to ensure effective patient care delivery and achievement of desired patient outcomes.
- Develop and implement individualized patient care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
- Monitor and report patient progress to the healthcare team and family members.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes.
Requirements:
- A valid Permanent Multi-State RN License from the state in which you reside.
- BLS certification required.
- NRP certification required within the orientation period.
- One year of maternal/child nursing experience preferred.
