Senior Industrial Engineer

Amuneal Manufacturing Corporation is seeking a highly skilled Senior Industrial Engineer to lead the technical development of our heat treat department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our heat treat processes, ensuring compliance with industry standards and our Quality Management System (QMS).

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs for the heat treat department
  • Design and improve electrical controls systems, including PLC programming and relay logic
  • Collaborate with quality, manufacturing, and engineering departments to drive process improvements
  • Provide technical support and training to employees on heat treat processes and equipment
  • Develop and maintain a system for assessing furnace performance and communicating that performance to management
  • Use data-driven decision making to identify opportunities for process improvements
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Electrical Engineering
  • 5+ years of experience working in a heat-treating facility
  • Strong understanding of system operating requirements, safety risks, and equipment and material limitations
  • Proficiency in electrical and mechanical troubleshooting, PLC programming, and relay logic
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical drawings and schematics
