Job Summary

The State of Oklahoma is seeking a highly skilled Senior Behavioral Health Case Manager II to join our team. As a key member of our behavioral health services team, you will be responsible for providing professional case management services to clients receiving treatment through advocacy, referral assistance, and by preparing individual care plans based on recovery goals and strategies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide screening to determine the need for case management services
  • Develop a strengths-based assessment in conjunction with the consumer
  • Provide emergency services and emergency assistance
  • Provide client support and training to maintain community living skills
  • Network with other individuals and organizations that influence the recipient's relationship with the community
  • Conduct follow-up contact with the consumer if they miss any scheduled appointments
  • Document services and maintain necessary records
  • Meet billable hours for Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic (CCBHC) facilities

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Education or a behavioral health related field
  • Two years of professional experience in professional case management behavioral health services
  • Current certification as a Certified Behavioral Case Manager

Working Conditions

Incumbents must function in accordance with the Joint Commission, Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF), Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA), and all other applicable rules, laws, and authorities.
