Armed School Security Guard Position

Precision Security Team is a veteran-owned and operated company that provides security services to various clients in the northern Colorado area. We are seeking a qualified professional to fill the role of an Armed School Security Guard in Castle Rock, CO.
The ideal candidate will have experience in customer service, conflict intervention, and security or military service. Firearm experience is a crucial aspect of this position, and previous experience is required. The selected candidate will assist with all security-related concerns and other requests as needed to ensure a safe environment for the public at the assigned site.
The Armed School Security Guard will be responsible for conducting regular patrols of the school campus, expertly de-escalating high-stress situations, maintaining constant situational awareness, ensuring the safety of students, staff, and visitors, responding swiftly and appropriately to emergencies, and documenting and reporting incidents.
Precision Security Team values integrity, commitment, and development, and the selected candidate will be expected to uphold these core values and demonstrate a professional demeanor at all times. The schedule for this position is 7:15 am-3:15 pm, Monday through Friday.
The selected candidate will be required to pass a background check, physical and psychiatric screen, and be eligible to legally use a firearm. Veterans and prior law enforcement officers are encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular patrols of the school campus

- Respond swiftly and appropriately to emergencies
- Document and report incidents
Requirements:
- 21 years of age or older
- High school diploma or GED
- Pass required background check
- Pass required physical and psychiatric screen
- Eligible to legally use a firearm
- Previous firearm experience
- Able to work the posted hours without modification
Physical Requirements:
- Able to train and become certified to use an approved firearm
- Able to use/maintain/operate/manipulate firearm, handcuffs, and other issued gear
- Able to stand for up to eight hours at a time
- Able to pass company basic hand-to-hand course
- Able to walk up and down stairs frequently throughout your shift
- Able to lift at least 50 pounds unassisted
- Able to wear issued gear belt for the entire duration of your assigned shift
