Diagnostic Imaging Specialist

As a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist at AdventHealth, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and performing a variety of ultrasound procedures, including abdominal, pelvic, OB, head, extremity, retro peritoneal, small parts, and vascular exams. You will also be responsible for preparing patients for exams, providing information and instruction, and responding to their physical and emotional needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality images and exams on patients while maintaining sensitivity to patient needs
- Demonstrate leadership abilities and serve as a role model for other associate technologists
- Act as a clinical resource to unit personnel and assure current standards of practice for the unit
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) from American Heart Association
- ARDMS registered RDMS(OB/GYN) or (AB) or (BR) or ARR registered R.T.(S)(ARRT) or R.T.(S)(BS)(ARRT) or ARDMS registered RVT(VT) with OB or ABD required within 1 year or hire
