Job Title: Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist

Join the Defense Health Agency as a Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist and contribute to the delivery of high-quality medical imaging services. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for performing a full range of mammographic examinations, coordinating biopsies, and maintaining mammography policies and procedures.

About the Role:
  • Perform radiographic examinations and procedures, setting up the x-ray room and preparing or administering contrast material.
  • Coordinate biopsies with surgeons, radiologists, and patients.
  • Maintain mammography policies and procedures manual annually.
  • Oversee standardization of test methodology.
  • Review quality control test data with radiologists.
  • Perform quality control and assurance equipment checks.
Requirements:
  • Must possess the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) - Radiography Mammography (RM) Certification.
  • One year of specialized experience in radiographic examinations and procedures, or one full year of graduate-level education in a field directly related to the work of the position.
