Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist to join our team at the Defense Health Agency. As a Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist, you will be responsible for performing a full range of mammographic examinations within the Department of Radiology.

Responsibilities
  • Perform a full range of mammographic examinations within the Department of Radiology.
  • Coordinate biopsies with surgeon, radiologist, and patient.
  • Maintain mammography policies and procedures manual annually.
  • Oversee standardization of test methodology.
  • Review of all data from quality control tests with radiologist.
  • Perform Quality Control and Assurance equipment checks.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Must possess the AMERICAN REGISTRY OF RADIOLOGIC TECHNOLOGISTS (ARRT) - Radiography Mammography (RM) Certification.
  • One year of specialized experience which includes performing radiographic examinations/procedures and setting up the x-ray room or preparing or administering contrast material.
  • One full year of graduate level education in a field directly related to the work of the position, such as Diagnostic Radiology/Radiography.
