Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist to join our team at the Defense Health Agency Civilian Corps in Falls Church, VA. As a Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist, you will be responsible for performing a full range of mammographic examinations within the Department of Radiology.

Responsibilities
  • Perform radiographic examinations and procedures
  • Set up the x-ray room and prepare or administer contrast material
  • Maintain mammography policies and procedures manual
  • Oversee standardization of test methodology
  • Review quality control data with radiologist
  • Perform quality control and assurance equipment checks
Qualifications

To qualify for this position, you must meet the following requirements:

  • Must possess the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) - Radiography Mammography (RM) Certification
  • One year of specialized experience in performing radiographic examinations and procedures
  • OR one full year of graduate-level education in a field directly related to the work of the position
  • OR a combination of education and experience that meets the requirements
