As a Health Unit Coordinator, you will play a critical role in coordinating business office functions, providing administrative support, and ensuring the smooth operation of our healthcare services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate the scheduling of home health aides and ensure timely delivery of services.
  • Participate in the reduction of overtime and optimize staff utilization.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date resident charts and file documents.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and maintain confidentiality of all resident information.
  • Assist with program planning and coordination for special events and functions.
  • Prepare and disseminate reports and documents as needed.
  • Coordinate transportation arrangements for residents.
  • Work collaboratively with nurses and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery.

Requirements:

  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Proficiency in Windows and Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working with older adults and in senior living settings.
  • Ability to read, write, and comprehend instructions and documentation in English.
