About the Role

We are seeking an experienced recruiter to join our team at Easterseals' Veteran Staffing Network (VSN). As a recruiter, you will be responsible for sourcing and recruiting military candidates for various nationwide job opportunities with our client-base of employers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Creatively source qualified candidates through cold-calling, referral-based calling, professional networking, and other methods
  • Review and understand clients' needs and job requirements
  • Screen candidates and select the most suitable applicants for clients' needs
  • Present candidates to clients, highlighting their qualifications and fit
  • Track potential candidates in VSN's Applicant Tracking System (ATS)
  • Schedule and prepare applicants for interviews
  • Assist with candidates' on-boarding process and employee scheduling as needed
  • Follow-up with candidates after hiring/placement
  • Share knowledge and train junior team members on recruiting methods
Requirements
  • US military veteran, National Guard/Reserve member, or military spouse preferred
  • Bachelor's degree required; additional work experience may be accepted in lieu of degree
  • 8+ years of professional recruiting experience, preferably agency recruiting and across various industries
  • Tech-savvy with ability to learn new software and navigate the internet
  • Proficiency in MS Outlook and Word
  • Ability to use a database and applicant tracking systems
