About the Job
Our busy orthopedic specialty practice is seeking a full-charge bookkeeper to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you will play an important role in supporting our medical professionals. In this role, you will maintain financial records, process accounts payable and receivable, reconcile general and subsidiary bank accounts, provide financial status information, and correct errors by posting adjusting journal entries. You will also back up the accounting assistant in preparing and processing payroll, as needed.

Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate and detailed financial records
- Process and manage accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Reconcile general and subsidiary bank accounts
- Provide timely and accurate financial status information
- Correct errors and discrepancies in financial records

Requirements
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced bookkeeper who is proficient in QuickBooks Desktop and QuickBooks Online. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in accounting and a strong understanding of financial software. Excellent organizational and communication skills are also essential. Experience in the medical industry is a plus.
