Job Description

A busy orthopedic specialty practice in Orange County requires an experienced financial operations coordinator to support medical professionals. Estimated salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per year.

The ideal candidate will play a vital role in maintaining accurate financial records by analyzing balance sheets and general ledger accounts, processing accounts payable and accounts receivable, reconciling general and subsidiary bank accounts, and providing financial status information through special reports and projects. Additionally, they will correct errors by posting adjusting journal entries and assist with payroll preparation as needed.

Key Qualifications
  • Professionalism and ability to manage confidential information
  • Positive attitude, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to take on new challenges
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and experience in accounting for the medical industry (a plus)
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks Desktop and QuickBooks Online, with a minimum of 3-5 years of experience, and strong skills in MS Excel spreadsheets, MS Outlook, and MS Word
  • Experience in processing payroll and understanding how to audit and reconcile third-party payroll reports to the general ledger
