LINE COOK POSITION

Walnut Creek Country Club is excited to announce openings in our kitchen as we prepare for the upcoming season. We are a distinguished private club seeking enthusiastic, dependable individuals to fill our culinary roles. We are currently looking for line cooks to support our casual dining, fine dining, and banquet services.

We value candidates who possess strong communication abilities, enjoy engaging with others, and demonstrate self-motivation with a commitment to excellence. While prior experience is beneficial, it is not a strict requirement. A professional demeanor, attention to detail, and a genuine passion for hospitality are essential. Availability for a mix of weekends, evenings, and some holidays is necessary.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • High school diploma or equivalent is preferred. A minimum of six months to one year of experience in a line cook role or completion of culinary school is desired.
  • Knowledge of food preparation, storage and handling practices, sanitation, and the use of commercial culinary equipment is required.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

  • Must be able to lift weights ranging from 20 to 50 pounds regularly.
  • Full mobility is required throughout the entire shift.
  • Work conditions will vary between kitchen areas and coolers with controlled temperatures.

EMPLOYMENT TYPE:

Full-time or Part-time opportunities available.
