About the Role

CALM is seeking a skilled Therapist to join our team in Santa Barbara. As a Therapist, you will provide psychotherapeutic treatment, rehabilitation, and care coordination to children and families in both English and Spanish.

Our ideal candidate is a compassionate and empathetic individual with a Master's or Doctorate degree in a relevant field. You will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive services to our clients.

The successful candidate will have strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team. You will be responsible for developing and implementing treatment plans, providing psychoeducation and parenting support, and administering periodic assessments to monitor treatment progression.

We offer a competitive compensation package, including a 10% compensation increase upon licensure, a $1-3/hour bilingual stipend, and a $7,500 Sign-On Bonus. Our benefits package includes 100% Employer-sponsored Life Insurance, Medical/Dental/Vision Insurance, and a 403b Retirement Plan with a 3% Match.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide psychotherapeutic treatment, rehabilitation, and care coordination to children and families
  • Develop and implement treatment plans
  • Provide psychoeducation and parenting support

  • Participate in trainings and work towards certification in evidence-based modalities
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team and serve as a liaison between families, healthcare providers, and community-based organizations
Requirements
  • Master's or Doctorate degree in a relevant field
  • Registered or licensed with the Board of Behavioral Sciences as an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (AMFT), Associate Social Worker (ASW), Associate Professional Clinical Counselor (APCC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC)
  • 2+ years clinical experience working with children and families preferred
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred
