Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Therapist to join our team at CALM. As a Therapist, you will provide psychotherapeutic treatment, rehabilitation, and care coordination to children up to age 21 and their families. You will work with a multidisciplinary team to support clients in meeting their mental health goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide individual, group, and family therapy sessions to clients.
  • Conduct clinical assessments and develop treatment plans with measurable and observable goals.
  • Implement evidence-based modalities to fidelity and provide developmentally appropriate and culturally responsive therapeutic interventions.
  • Administer periodic assessments to monitor treatment progression and communicate with clients.
  • Participate in trainings and work towards certification in appropriate modalities.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team and serve as a liaison between families, healthcare providers, and community-based organizations.
  • Maintain current knowledge in topics related to the position and participate in evaluation efforts.

Requirements:

  • Master's or Doctorate degree in a relevant field.
  • Registration or licensure with the Board of Behavioral Sciences as an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (AMFT), Associate Social Worker (ASW), Associate Professional Clinical Counselor (APCC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC).
  • 2+ years of clinical experience working with children and families preferred.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.

  • $1-3/hour bilingual stipend for employees using Spanish as a second language.
  • $7,500 Sign-On Bonus Paid at 90-days, 6 months, and 1 year of active service.
  • 10 days of PTO for the 1st year of service, increasing to 15 days in the second year of service and 80 hours of sick leave.
