Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Nurse Practitioner to join our team at PeaceHealth Sacred Heart Medical Center at Riverbend. As a Behavioral Health NP Hospitalist, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the success of our hospital.

Responsibilities
  • Provide advanced level of nursing evaluation, clinical assessment, and follow-up care for patients in the Behavioral Health Unit.
  • Prescribe medications and treatments, and ongoing medication management.
  • Educate patients and/or families about preventive care, medical issues, and use of prescribed medical treatments and/or medications.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential medical records.
  • Collaborate with members of the medical staff to ensure high-quality patient care.
Requirements
  • ARNP license in the State of Oregon.
  • Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) certification.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Interpersonal skills necessary to work productively with patients, families, nursing staff, and other departments.
