As a frontrunner in engineered fiberglass reinforced plastic (FRP) products and systems, we produce a diverse array of FRP/GRP offerings, including roofing and siding panels, cable management ladder trays, tank cover systems, and custom-engineered solutions for water and wastewater treatment.
Role Overview:
We are looking for a skilled Facilities Engineer to enhance our operations at Enduro Composites. This position is full-time and requires on-site presence. The selected candidate will focus on process enhancement, implementation of LEAN methodologies, and the design of machinery and fixtures.
Key responsibilities will include supervising the maintenance division responsible for the upkeep and repair of equipment, ensuring operational efficiency, and minimizing downtime. You will lead a team of maintenance professionals, coordinating maintenance tasks such as preventive maintenance, inspections, and repairs. Additionally, your role will encompass the development and execution of maintenance strategies, budget management, resource allocation, and adherence to safety and regulatory standards.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in an engineering field (Industrial, Manufacturing, or Mechanical Engineering preferred). A minimum of 5-10 years of experience in manufacturing processes with a proven track record in a manufacturing setting -OR- 10 years of industrial experience with at least 5 years in a supervisory capacity.
- Proficiency in systems or software such as Vault, AutoCAD, Microsoft Excel, Project, Word, Access, and PowerPoint.
- Advanced skills in PLC troubleshooting and programming are essential.
- Strong understanding of maintenance processes, equipment management, facilities oversight, budgeting, and resource allocation.
- In-depth knowledge of hydraulics, compressed air systems, and safety regulations.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to manage multiple projects of varying scales simultaneously.
- Comprehensive understanding of ergonomics and relevant industry standards.
- Experience with composite or plastic manufacturing processes, including lamination, BM injection molding, Pultrusion, and hand lay-up is preferred but not mandatory.
