Position Overview:
The Beverage Operations Leader plays a crucial role in the hospitality team, reporting directly to the General Manager and Operations Manager. This position is tasked with managing the operational preparations prior to events at all beverage stations, as well as ensuring thorough clean-up after events. The leader will implement all components of the Legends beverage guidelines, deliver exceptional customer service, and uphold the standards set by Legends Hospitality.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Thoroughly adheres to and completes the Bar Event Checklist as outlined by Management.
  • Conducts beverage training for staff, covering essential procedures for specialty drink recipes, specifications for vessels/cups, and expectations for bar management, displays, and cleanliness.
  • Supervises and collaborates with Bartenders, Barbacks, and Stand Leads to ensure proper product setup and display in line with the beverage guidelines.
  • Manages the logistics of moving, delivering, and picking up necessary equipment and products to and from all bar locations, including liquor, wine, beer, mixers, cups, barware, ice, and fruit.
  • Oversees the batching team responsible for specialty and frozen drinks, providing par levels and dispersal instructions for accurate batch quantities.
  • Maintains extensive knowledge of the Beverage Guidelines, including required drink recipes and vessel specifications.
  • Ensures that menu items and pricing are accurately displayed for each event.
  • Supervises post-event clean-up with Barbacks and Bartenders, adhering to health and safety standards, including regular sanitization of equipment.
  • Accurately records and delivers inventory amounts for proper distribution, ensuring correct supply orders to maintain par levels at assigned locations.
  • Collaborates with Alcohol Compliance Representatives to ensure adherence to training and alcohol service guidelines, including proper ID verification and accurate pouring.
  • Ensures that all liquor and wine inventories are organized, secured, and locked.
  • Notifies Management and the Warehouse Supervisor of low inventory levels for bar items.
  • Assists with monthly inventory counts and organization.
  • Develops proficiency in using the FOH POS system and BOH inventory systems, including training and troubleshooting.
  • Demonstrates flexibility by rotating to other service locations as needed.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum age of 18 years.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Proficient in reading, speaking, and writing English to communicate effectively with staff and guests.
  • Ability to work all venue events with a flexible schedule to meet service demands, including extended hours, weekends, and holidays.
  • Capability to work in an open-air environment under various climate conditions.
  • Punctuality and dependability are essential.
  • Must maintain personal hygiene and a well-groomed appearance in accordance with company standards.
  • Sufficient mobility to perform assigned tasks, including standing, reaching, bending, and lifting for extended periods.
  • Ability to lift and transport items weighing between 10-30 pounds, occasionally up to 50 pounds.
  • Basic knowledge of food and beverage preparation, service standards, and guest relations preferred.
  • Strong listening skills and ability to follow directions from management.
  • Ability to work under pressure and multitask in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Must comply with state and local regulations for alcoholic beverage service.
Licenses & Certifications:

Required - RAMP certification (can be provided by Legends upon hiring, if necessary).

Adhere to and promote all safety policies and procedures, including identifying and reporting unsafe work conditions, and completing company-wide safety training along with any additional job-specific safety training.

Report all safety incidents (injuries and illnesses) into the company's risk management system on the same day the incident is reported.
