Payroll Automation Specialist

Job Summary:

This is a contract position for a highly skilled Payroll Automation Specialist to join our team at ICSI in Phoenix, AZ. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in payroll, finance, or accounting and be proficient in SAP HEC.

The estimated salary for this role is $85,000 - $110,000 per year, based on industry standards and the location.

Responsibilities:
  • Gather and document business requirements related to payroll and business activities
  • Analyze and evaluate information gathered from multiple sources to create documentation, including but not limited to business requirements, process flows, test plans, test scripts, and test results
  • Assist with developing and performing the testing related to the payroll system and downstream systems
  • Represent the department in meetings and through written and verbal communication with internal and external customers
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related business field and/or equivalent experience/training
  • Working experience with SAP HEC
  • CA sick-flight SAP payroll experience
  • Microsoft Office skills, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Experience with system design and implementation
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to prioritize and execute multiple tasks
