We are seeking a highly skilled Automation Specialist to join our team at Allied Automation & Industries. As an Automation Specialist, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and components.

The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge of electrical systems, a commitment to safety, and excellent problem-solving skills. This is an outdoor position that requires working in various weather conditions, including heat.

Salary: $22.00-$25.00 per hour

Responsibilities:

  • Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures.
  • Follow blueprints and building codes to determine the correct layout for wiring.
  • Inspect electrical components, such as transformers and circuit breakers.
  • Identify electrical problems with a variety of testing devices.
  • Repair or replace wiring, equipment, and fixtures using hand tools and power tools.
  • Able to weld for gate installs.
  • Educate customers on what issues are and how to fix them.
  • Distribute brochures to potential clients.
  • Use a tablet for notes and pictures of jobs before and after.

Requirements:

  • 2 years of sales experience.
  • 2 years of low-voltage experience.
