Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Automation Specialist to join our team at Centraprise. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for driving quality and automation strategy at the application level.

About the Role

This is a contract position in Phoenix, AZ, with a duration of 8+ months. The ideal candidate should have 8+ years of experience in test automation and a strong background in QA methodologies and processes.

Responsibilities

  • Provide domain expertise to engineers on automation, testing, and quality assurance methodologies and processes.
  • Craft and execute test scripts, assist in preparation of test strategies, set up and maintain test data & environments, and log results.
  • Drive quality and automation strategy at the application level, identify new opportunities, and drive software engineers to deliver high-quality code.
  • Execute against the test and automation strategy defined at the portfolio level.
  • Work with engineers to drive improvements in code quality via manual and automated testing.
  • Deliver capabilities for the portfolio automation strategy.
  • Develop test cases thriving for 100% test automation.
  • Involved in the review of user story backlogs and requirements specifications for completeness and weaknesses in function, performance, reliability, scalability, testability, usability, security, and compliance testing.
  • Plan and define testing approach, providing advice on prioritization of testing activity in support of identified risks in project schedules or test scenarios.
  • Develop test plans, testing resource requirements, and overall scheduling of testing tasks.
  • Drive the development of automation and testing in a CD/CI environment.
  • Develop manual and automated test cases and configurations needed to meet testing of business requirements.

Estimated Salary: $120,000-$150,000 per year
