Healthcare Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Healthcare Specialist to join our team at Dasco HME LLC. As a key member of our Clinical Services team, you will provide clinical insight and education to patients, as well as instruction on the safe and appropriate use of home respiratory equipment.
Key Responsibilities- Educate patients and families on equipment use and care, via phone calls, telehealth visits, and in-person interactions.
- Complete daily tasks, including follow-up with patients, NIV setup and home visits, and phone calls to patients and families as needed.
- Support the continuum of care by creating and overseeing care plans, communicating with physicians and other clinicians, and identifying and resolving patient care issues.
- Maintain current knowledge of DASCO equipment and services, and assist with quality control, maintenance of equipment, and general support of daily Clinical Outcomes Team operations.
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA, The Joint Commission, State Respiratory Care Board, and other applicable rules and regulations.
- High School diploma or GED equivalent.
- Professional licensure or certification, such as CRT, RRT, LPN, or RN.
- Six months' experience in a clinical services role.
- Associate's degree in a related field.
- Experience in healthcare, medical, insurance, or DME customer service.
This role operates primarily in a professional office setting, with occasional time spent in a clinical setting and patient home residences.
Physical DemandsThe physical demands of this role include sitting, standing, and occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds.
