Position Title: Plumbing Shop Supervisor

Role Summary: The Plumbing Shop Supervisor is responsible for overseeing, coordinating, and managing the activities of plumbing shop personnel. This includes directing renovations, installations, maintenance, and repairs of plumbing systems across various facilities. The supervisor will ensure all work orders are tracked and managed effectively, maintaining high standards of quality and compliance with safety regulations.

Qualifications:
- High school diploma with a minimum of four years of experience in plumbing construction and repair.
- Extensive knowledge of plumbing practices, methodologies, and safety protocols.
- Proven supervisory experience is essential.
- A valid driver's license is required, or the ability to obtain one shortly after employment.

Key Skills and Competencies:
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to lead and motivate a team.
- Proficient in following complex instructions and supervising plumbing specialists.
- Familiarity with online work order systems and electronic devices is advantageous.
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities:
1. Supervise plumbing staff to ensure efficient completion of tasks across the campus.
2. Plan and assign work to skilled plumbing specialists, assisting with troubleshooting and repairs.
3. Inspect ongoing and completed work to ensure compliance with specifications and quality standards.
4. Uphold safety standards by enforcing proper procedures and conducting regular training sessions.

Physical Requirements:
- Ability to work in various weather conditions and perform physical tasks such as lifting heavy objects.
- Must be able to navigate confined spaces and perform duties at heights.

Additional Information:
- Overtime and emergency response may be required.
- Participation in major campus events may be necessary.
