Job Summary

We are seeking a talented Kitchen Manager with hospitality and scratch kitchen experience to join our team at Velvet Taco.

About Us

Velvet Taco is a one-of-a-kind taco concept serving a chef-driven menu in a unique and funky fast-casual setting. We slow roast our own chicken and corn, use lots of booze in our margaritas, and make everything from scratch, which means our food tastes really awesome.

Compensation and Benefits

The estimated annual salary for this position is $60,000-$70,000, plus a 10% performance bonus paid quarterly. Additionally, we offer medical, dental, and vision benefits after 30 days, casual work attire, and a fun work environment.

Job Responsibilities
  • Support the management team in overseeing daily restaurant operations.
  • Ensure effective restaurant operations, resulting in consistent high food quality and cleanliness standards.
  • Support team members in training, development, and recognition driven by an employer of choice mentality.
  • Promote and support a 5-star guest experience.
Requirements

We are looking for a candidate with at least 3 years of recent full-service or fast-casual restaurant, hospitality, or food service experience. The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A proven track record of successfully running high-volume restaurants.
  • Food Handlers Certification / Alcoholic Beverage Servers Certification (TABC/BASSET).
  • An understanding of food and equipment safety and sanitation regulations.
