Job Summary

Pfizer is seeking a highly skilled Project Engineer to join our dynamic engineering team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, design, and execution of mechanical systems for global real estate capital projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of mechanical engineering projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives and compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Design mechanical systems, including HVAC, clean rooms, and utilities, using advanced engineering principles and tools.
  • Provide guidance, lead/co-lead projects, manage own time to meet objectives, and plan resource requirements for projects across the department.
  • Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, budgeting, and risk management strategies.
  • Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, including R&D, production, quality, and external contractors, to ensure seamless project integration.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • 5+ years of proven experience in a relevant field within a regulated industry, with at least 3 years in the pharmaceutical or life sciences industry.
  • Subject matter expertise in ASHRAE standards.
  • Familiar with Biosafety in Microbiological and Biomedical Laboratory (BMBL) guidelines.
  • Knowledgeable in FDA, EMA, GxP and ICH regulatory requirements.
  • Proficiency in CAD software (Revit, Autodesk Construction Cloud).
  • Experience implementing sustainable design and building practices.
  • HVAC equipment, Chillers/Boilers, operation and maintenance experience.
