The OpportunityAs a Sales Director at OpenText, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of your region's business, including strategic planning and execution. You will lead a team of high-performing Account Executives, coaching and developing them to achieve success. Your primary goal will be to meet or exceed assigned sales objectives and quotas.
Key Responsibilities- Grow customer satisfaction across the assigned region by providing exceptional service and support.
- Lead and direct a team of sales professionals to meet and exceed quarterly and annual sales quota targets.
- Develop, implement, and measure regional sales strategies and plans, complete with accurate forecasts.
- Assist in sales efforts, legal contracting, and resolving customer issues.
- Attract, engage, and retain a team of high-performing Account Executives.
- Train, develop, and direct reports in product knowledge, time, and territory management, and competitive knowledge.
- Provide ongoing feedback and coaching, and host regularly scheduled performance reviews.
- Participate in various headquarter/regional planning and training activities.
- Bachelor's Degree and significant Enterprise software sales experience with prior sales leadership experience.
- Demonstrated experience in Application Development business or in a similar domain with the ability to learn technical solutions in the business area.
- A proven ability to meet or exceed regional sales targets.
- A passion for leading a team and a demonstrated ability to drive results through others.
- Strong business acumen and an ability to manage strategic plans with partner and company executives.
- Ability to analyze complex situations and employ creative and effective decision making to solve problems/achieve results.
- Knowledge of accounts and connections within key accounts within the region is considered an asset.
