Role Responsibilities:

  • Conduct general maintenance and repairs on equipment, plumbing, electrical systems, and buildings.
  • Perform non-specialized maintenance tasks at target ranges and supporting facilities under general supervision.
  • Utilize tractors, lawn mowers, and hand tools for maintenance of targets and areas.
  • Manage the removal of ordnance debris and scrap material to designated storage areas.
  • Execute painting, welding, carpentry, and minor electrical repairs as needed.
  • Oversee grass cutting and weed control across all sites.
  • Maintain the main building's air-conditioning system and replace light fixtures as required.
  • Assist in vehicle maintenance, including oil changes and cleaning.
  • Support HVAC/Ground Power Mechanic in maintenance tasks.
  • Disassemble machines and replace defective parts under supervision.
  • Perform cleaning and lubrication of machine components.
  • Address plumbing issues, including clearing clogged drains and replacing fixtures.
  • Provide janitorial services as necessary.
  • Adhere to environmental, safety, and health standards, including the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
  • Document work performed accurately in the IEMS.
  • Be prepared for travel as required by job duties.
  • Flexibility in scheduling to meet mission requirements.
  • Complete additional tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of two years of experience in general maintenance.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English.
  • Strong teamwork and adaptability skills.
  • Capability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
  • Detail-oriented with strong customer service skills.
  • Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
  • Valid state driver's license and a safe driving record.
  • Must pass a drug/alcohol test and a criminal background check.
