Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct general maintenance and repairs on equipment, plumbing, electrical systems, and buildings.
  • Perform routine upkeep of target ranges and associated facilities under minimal supervision.
  • Utilize various tools and machinery for maintenance tasks, including tractors and power tools.
  • Manage the removal and sorting of debris and materials as per government regulations.
  • Engage in painting, welding, carpentry, and minor electrical repairs as needed.
  • Oversee grass cutting and weed management across all designated sites.
  • Execute preventive maintenance on HVAC systems and replace lighting fixtures.
  • Assist in vehicle maintenance, including oil changes and cleaning.
  • Support HVAC and Ground Power Mechanics in their maintenance duties.
  • Perform machine maintenance, including cleaning and lubrication of parts.
  • Handle plumbing tasks such as clearing drains and replacing fixtures.
  • Document all work performed accurately and maintain compliance with safety standards.
  • Travel as required to fulfill job responsibilities, adhering to government travel regulations.
  • Adapt to changing schedules based on mission requirements and operational readiness.
  • Fulfill additional duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • A minimum of two years of experience in general maintenance.
  • Must possess relevant licenses and credentials.
  • Proficient in English, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team or independently.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal abilities.
  • Physical capability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
  • Willingness to work in various weather conditions and environments.
  • Valid state driver's license and a clean driving record are mandatory.
  • Successful completion of a drug/alcohol test and background check is required.
