We are seeking a skilled Behavioral Health Technician to join our team at Ascension Via Christi St Joseph in Wichita, KS.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct behavioral health patient care, including assisting patients with activities of daily living and providing or assisting with diagnostic procedures and therapeutic interventions.
- Observe and record patient behavior and activities, reporting any changes in condition and suggesting modifications to the treatment plan.
- Establish a therapeutic relationship with assigned patients, promoting a safe and supportive environment.
- BLS Provider certification within 1 month of hire date required.
- Nurse Aide credentialed from the Kansas Nurse Aide Registry preferred.
- High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience or Associate's degree/Technical degree or 4 years of applicable cumulative job-specific experience required.
