Key Responsibilities:- Oversee a comprehensive prospect development program, establishing a long-term strategic vision and annual goals.
- Determine prospect development priorities, lead projects to expand and refine the prospect pool, and oversee robust screening programs.
- Develop and maintain a transparent and coordinated prospect management system, implement portfolio optimization processes, and train frontline fundraisers on prospect management policies and procedures.
- Supervise a small team of prospect development staff, developing staffing and retention strategies, partnering with Human Resources for effective recruitment and onboarding, mentoring direct reports, and providing quality assurance.
- Collaborate with leadership on long-term and short-term planning, support strategic priorities with innovative solutions, and champion a positive organizational culture.
- Bachelor's Degree in a related field.
- 7+ years of relevant work experience.
- Preferred candidates will have experience with relational databases (preferably Raiser's Edge), 2+ years of supervisory experience, and a background in developing and facilitating training materials.
